How the West was Won

The NBA All-Star Game is this weekend, February 11-14 in Dallas. You can watch it on TNT. I am kind of jealous not to actually go, but maybe next year, and hopefully we can do it in, oh I don't know, San Diego? Anyways, it features a H.O.R.S.E competition. Come on, you know you played that in elementary school. (Saturday, 7pm). The Slam Dunk Competition is after that at 8:30pm. I'm rooting for Shannon Brown, did you see him SLAM in the game last night vs. the Spurs?? (By the way, I'm a big-time Lakers fan). There's an All-Star Celebrity game, Friday at 7pm. Finally, the All-Star Game is Sunday (Aww Valentines Day) at 7pm. See all the details here:
The East includes the "Chalky Gymnast" Lebron James (Cavs). It also includes Allan "I'm a Likeable Guy" Iverson (Sixers). "We do commercials with Chuck (Charles Barkley)": Dwayne Wade (Heat) and Dwight Howard (Magic). And of course Kevin "Good thing I'm not Big Baby" Garnet.
The West includes "The Legend" Steve Nash (Suns). "The Master" Kobe Bryant (81 points in a single game for the Lakers!?). "The Leader" Tim Duncan (Spurs). "The Candyman" Carmelo Anthony (Nuggets). And "The'Big'Guy" A'Mar'E Stoudemire (Suns).
Now who is going to win? The West. I would put my money on it, if I had any. We have more tattoos and we have a white guy. The west just looks more well-rounded and the PPG's are high with all the starters. Plus their reserves (the bench) are better including Brandon Roy and Pau Gasol. If you look at Year-By-Year Results, The West also has more wins....so we shall see.
Here is the preview to the weekend featuring the song "More" by Usher. It's an awesome Music Video too!
